We are located at 915 Spring Garden Street (entrance on Percy Street) #114, Philadelphia, PA 19123. Our Center is in artist-friendly The Reading Building, on N. Percy Street, a small street between 9th & 10th Streets off of Spring Garden Street.
Driving Directions
From points West Interstate Route 76 East delivers you to Philadelphia. As the city comes into view and the expressway splits, bear left onto 676 East and follow 676 E. for about 3 miles, getting off at the second exit on the right for 8th Street. Stay in the left lane off the exit, turn left at the second light, which is 7th Street, and follow that across Vine Street until you get to Spring Garden Street, and the Edgar Allan Poe house. Turn left on Spring Garden and travel two blocks, past 9th Street. As soon as you go under an overpass, you'll be at N. Percy Street on your right. Turn onto N. Percy Street, park, and head for the only door with the prayer flags above it.
From I-95 South of Philadelphia, traveling north: Look for exit 22, Callowhill St./US-30 toward I-676, a LEFT exit of two lanes from Rt 95. As you exit left, keep in the right of the two lanes. Exit to the right for Callowhill Street. Keep to the right as you go through the light at the bottom of the exit ramp. Stay straight, moving over to the far right lane and turn right onto 7th Street. Follow to Spring Garden Street, and turn left onto Spring Garden Street until you come to 9th Street. Continue under the overpass and make an immediate right onto Percy Street. Park and head for the door with the prayer flags above it.
From I-95 Nouth of Philadelphia, traveling south: Look for exit 22, Callowhill St./US-30 toward I-676, a RIGHT exit of two lanes from Rt. 95. At the bottom of the exit ramp turn right onto Callowhill Street and follow to 7th Street (you will be at 2nd and Callowhill). Follow to Spring Garden Street, and turn left onto Spring Garden Street until you come to 9th Street. Continue under the overpass and make an immediate right onto Percy Street. Park and head for the door with the prayer flags above it.
From New Jersey, cross the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and stay in the far right lanes. Turn right at the light at 7th Street/Franklin Street. Follow to Spring Garden Street. Turn left onto Spring Garden Street, and see the directions above from there.
From everywhere else in the world There's Map Quest and Google maps . We're also about a 7 minute cab ride from Amtrak's 30th Street Station. Ask your cabbie to take JFK Blvd. to 21st Street to Spring Garden Street to Percy Street - which is half a block past 10th & Spring Garden - on the left. There are plenty of hotels, restaurants and accommodations near the Center, which is perfectly equipoised between center city and the burgeoning Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia.
Public Transportation Sunday schedules notwithstanding, we are accessible via SEPTA Route 43 bus , just hop off at 10th, walk one-half block to Percy Street, and head for the prayer flags.
