Mantra and Silent Meditation. Ven. Losang Samten, Rinpoche, Sunday Morning Sangha. (3.11.12)

Mantra, and silence.  The first half hour or so of our meditation practice on this date.  About seven minutes of chanting the mantra of Green Tara, OM TARE TUTARE TURE SOHA, followed by about 25 minutes of silent meditation practice.  (This was followed by recitation of the Heart Sutra, and our practice on Chenrezig, Buddha of Compassion, as with each Sunday this month.)  May this be the cause of immeasurable joy and benefit to all beings.

The first of four Sunday morning practices on Chenrezig, Buddha of Compassion, to coincide with the compassion mandala being created this month (March 2012) by Ven.
